History
“Times change, DNA remains…”
In 1963, architect Ton Alberts established his agency in Amsterdam. Max van Huut joined Ton’s office in 1975. After the realisation of the former head office of ING Bank (formerly the NMB bank) in Amsterdam Southeast, Alberts and Van Huut became partners in 1987. Our agency then became Alberts & Van Huut International Architects.
From day one, our agency has gained a wealth of experience with regard to the influence of nature and its interaction with the architectural environment on the well-being of humanity.
The continuously growing experience with this creates a proven and special bond of trust from our clients. They come together with us to create designs that have a positive impact on human well-being.
Ton Alberts passed away in 1999, while Max van Huut continues his work as an innovative architect to this day. The name of the agency has remained unchanged.
